It's finally Michigan summer, which means one thing: BBQs!

Guiding Light has a tradition every year in which our sober living communities host summer barbeques for family, friends, and current Guiding Light participants. This week, Esther's House hosted their first one of the year! As we celebrate the women's recovery program's second anniversary this month, it has been incredible to watch this community grow and for these celebrations to grow with each passing year.

The Guiding Light family SHOWED UP on Monday to cheer on our Iron House softball team!

What they might lack in runs they make up for in heart! Community is a key element of what makes Guiding Light successful, and engagement like this develops and strengthens it for our participants in programming and at sober-living.
