The Kala Project Presents | Eric. 04/11/2016

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Eric. Even though losing someone is very difficult for family and friends, those closest to him have been left with a sense of great hope and peace because of the faith he so courageously lived out. Even in his final days.

In honor of Eric, please take a few minutes to listen to his story again. We worked with Eric and his family to tell this story three years ago and his words still ring true. May we all learn something from Eric about being part of a larger story.

Embraced 09/29/2015

We are proud to present our latest film, Embraced!

"I see that in each of us, more of a sensitivity, because of what we've gone through, to now reach out not just in the cancer community, but in life to whoever God crosses our paths with." These wise words from Nate Ohman sum up what Embraced is all about. This is a story about two families struggling with childhood cancer who find hope when their lives intersect.

After watching the film we hope that you will be inspired to embrace those around you. And for those going through difficult times, whether it's cancer or anything else, we hope that you will feel embraced.

Pictured here are the Dryden & Ohman families who were featured in Embraced, the Diekevers family who started Starlite Shores Family Camp where these families met, as well as Kyle & James from our team.

We will be releasing the film TOMORROW!!

Usually when someone is going through childhood cancer, the focus is all on that child's struggle. And rightly so. However, we sometimes forget that it is as much of a struggle in other ways for the parents, siblings, other family members, and friends. As we talked to Annika & Emma's families, we learned just how much they have to go through and how much they have grown as a family through everything.

Join us as we premiere our newest film 'Embraced' next week Sunday! Event details here: www.facebook.com/events/420237501508360/
