Welcome to the 2026 intern cohort!
This summer, these students will step onto active job sites and into progress meetings, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our project managers, superintendents, and field crews.
Interns here get direct exposure to how we plan, how we build, and how we lead. From coordinating with subcontractors to understanding project phasing and scheduling, they're doing the work. Real projects. Real responsibility. Real experience.
Curt Mulder, our president, started his career as an intern at Wolverine. a reminder of what this program is actually about: investing in the next generation of construction leaders.
Welcome to the team. We're glad you're here!

What initially started as a text message, turned into an example of what happens when we join forces for the public good 👇
The .K. Kellogg Foundation, The Rapid, and The YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids teamed up to create a first-of-its-kind transportation and childcare facility hub. And when they needed a contractor to remodel the vacant space for this center, we jumped right at the opportunity.
It was a long road behind the scenes to get here, but we were finally able to introduce the public to the Central Station Early Childhood Center this past Monday, and we couldn't be more excited to show off the work our crew put in to get it done.
Countless families will directly benefit from this facility, and the meaning behind this build goes right back to the core of what we believe at Wolverine Construction: supporting your neighbors, stepping up and stepping in, and doing what's right. The Central Station Early Childhood Center isn't just a build. It's a testament of what can really happen when you put your community first.

The work doesn't happen without the people. Behind every project milestone, every deadline met, every detail that gets done right, there's a crew that showed up, gave it their all, and supported one another. These are just a few moments that say it better than we ever could. Thank you Wolverine crew!

Some projects stay with you.
Looking back at 2025, it's hard not to feel proud of what this team brought to life across the state and beyond. From a vibrant mixed-use development in the heart of Grand Rapids, to a community-changing YMCA, workforce housing tucked into northern Michigan, a new athletic hub for WMU, a hotel in Brighton, and a QuikTrip all the way out in West Chester, Ohio. Each one of these projects carried something bigger than just steel and concrete.
These are just a few of our favorites from the year. Every one of them represents a team that showed up, solved problems, and delivered something the community will use for decades.
2026 is already shaping up to be something special, and we're just getting started.

We've officially handed the keys over to our friends at Weiss Technik 🤝
✅ Three separate facilities consolidated into one unified operation — eliminating the constant material transport, staging delays, and coordination headaches that slowed production
📏 29’ clear height, with a 32’ eave outside — up from 20-21 feet, allowing the team to build the taller chambers their customers require
⚡ 4,000 amps of dedicated power — engineered specifically for the extreme electrical demands of their testing chambers, something nearly impossible to find in an existing building
🏢🛠️ Shared office and manufacturing space with one central break room — breaking down the wall between floor and office teams
Wolverine's design/build approach brought Weiss Technik's operations and engineering teams into the process from day one, and delivered under budget with room for upgrades.
We're proud to stamp our name on this one. Welcome home, Weiss Technik! 🏡
For us, it's always been more than just constructing great buildings. We want to build up our communities and help our neighbors. That's exactly what our IMPACT Program is all about.
IMPACT is Wolverine's corporate social responsibility program, using our core values of Do The Right Thing and Step Up and Serve to create a larger impact in our communities. Through this program, we're able to give employees the opportunities to volunteer and give back to the SW Michigan residents, businesses, non-profits, and more that have helped Wolverine become what it is today.
Doing the right thing isn't something we just try to make room for. It's a priority for all of us at Wolverine Construction.

Muskegon has momentum — and we get to be part of it.
Last month, we broke ground on the new Element Hotels alongside the City of Muskegon Government, Henrickson Architecture, Great Lakes Capital, Schahet Hotels LLC, investors, and a community that came out to celebrate what's being built in their city. Together, we reflected on how this project started — the conversations, the planning, the vision that brought the right people to the table — and looked ahead to what it will become.
Then we picked up the shovels and made it official.
We're honored to be the team breaking ground for Element Muskegon. Between now and next summer, we'll be heads-down doing what we do — planning thoroughly, building carefully, and making sure that when the doors open, the project is something our partners are proud of.
Here's to what's next. 🤝
