Sometimes there are benefits to being up at 3:30am to check on the frost fans in the orchards. Got to see the crescent πŸŒ™ moon rise in the east earlier this week. It was as big and beautiful as when a full moon rises. This picture was a little after it came up.
The good news is it looks like we may be past the freezing temperatures this Spring. 🀞🏻 It looks like there is minimal damage to apples and pears from the cold. Sweet cherries and Apricots have a reduced crop due to earlier cold temperatures. Peaches took a big hit with sub-zero temperatures back in January. Will update their status later.
