It's no secret that we deal with parts availability and quality issues daily here at the shop, and I'm not afraid to call these companies out with the issues. However, I want to give a shout out to a company that has gone above and beyond.

I recently bought a truck that has an aftermarket larger fuel pump installed in it. While I was working on the truck I ran into an issue with said fuel pump. I figured for sure since I didn't buy the pump firsthand I would be out of luck getting any assistance but figured what do I have to loose. So I called them up.

I was greeted by a LIVE person, who listened and took my call seriously. We spoke about the issue I was having, we also spoke about some testing I have done and some new product design that I have in mind. I was treated with professional respect and courtesy through out the entire conversation.

In the end, my issue was taken care of quickly with zero hassle. No fuss, no photo taking, no emails back and forth, ZERO frustration. I could not be happier with the help I received. Wonderful to have a mutual respect when calling a company with questions and needs.

Finishing up our 75 T/A project... The exhaust had to go... It was horrible, headers necked down from 3" to 2" pipes... Then crushed when bent to under 1.75" in many places...

Now she's full 3" mandrel bent, with stainless flexible joints added to allow movement under acceleration and grabbing gears. With 600ft/tq things move around! This car also has Headman headers and they have a "ball and socket" designed collector, so we had to custom make our connection.

The story of our lives here at the shop... And then when the parts get here they are wrong or fail...

Here she is, 2015 2500 6.0 Superworktruck ready for battle! To recap: 75,000 mile truck, custom ground "Haul N Oats" cam, Whipple 2.3 Supercharger, 1050i.d. injectors, 525 pump and true flex fuel capabilities custom installed and wired by us here in the shop.

On E85, she's making 588RWHP and 516FT/LBS of torque! This equates to 205% over stock... All breathing through a factory air box and factory exhaust.

By the way, ole girl is heavy 8700 #

We can't thank the crew at Baker Engineering LLC. enough for all the help with our custom builds. From developing new cam grinds (specifically for Curless Auto Repair ), to multiple dyno days our relationship proves over and over again our builds deliver!

The Whipple Superchargers 2.3 is extremely happy at 10 # of boost staying nice and cool under heavy load! This thing adds huge power / torque all the way through the rpm range.

OMG... The amount of butt splices, male/female, and wire nuts is insane... Not to mention the fact that half of the wiring colors are all mismatched... Ugh...
