Summer nights in Santorini

This past week, I had the honor of documenting Katie & Christian's elopement in Greece. It was an absolute dream (and I'm tearing up looking at their photos). It's hard to describe how magical the day was. It was simple, elegant, and filled with so much love.

I'm working on their sneak peek today and tomorrow, but I had to share these two incredible images. Vogue better be ready to publish these two!

On cloud nine with these two!

Meghan and Hunter were so sweet to hang with on Sunday evening at the beach. It felt soft and a little moody with the clouds hanging low over Lake Michigan. Genuine love like theirs is so joyful to capture. I cannot wait to celebrate with them next September on their wedding day!

A sneak peek from Jordan & Ethan’s engagement session last night!

This spot reminds me of the iconic ceremony scene at the end of Bridesmaids. It’s historic, romantic
and makes every movement feel heartfelt. The drone images capture just how stunning the property and landscape is, while documenting the magnitude of their love. I can’t remember a time I haven’t known Jordan, as we’ve been friends since elementary school. It is so special to see her so happy and feel so loved.

From growing up to growing old, I cannot wait to see everything in between then and now for Jordan!

Life update!

On Friday, March 20th, 2026 at 4:09pm, we welcomed our beautiful girl, Leona Lynne Carlson into the world. At birth, she weighed 7lbs 13oz and was 21 inches long.

We are so in love with her, and I cannot wait to take pictures of her as she grows up (perks of having a mom that’s a photographer)!

A deeper look into Leana & Anthony's wedding day

I shared a few photos a few months ago from their first dance, but their wedding day was too stunning not to share more. It was such a classy and timeless wedding filled with so much love, laughter, and a little liquor to get their dance floor poppin. These two and their guests know how to get down! The energy of their reception was electric, and I live for these moments on wedding days.

And their wedding colors??? CHEFS KISS. I love a good light pink moment.

A look into Ericka & Shawn's wedding day this past fall.

These two were celebrated by all of their favorite people in October at The High Five in Grand Rapids. It was a sweet, simple day filled with so much love. Being their photographer was such a gift. They were so incredible to capture throughout their engagement session and wedding day. I am so excited to follow along with their journey and see what the future holds for them.

Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. Sanders! You two are incredible, and I will cherish the memories of your day for years to come!
