Most homeowners assume hiring a cleaning service is a luxury, but the numbers tell a different story.

📊 Did you know?
• The average person spends 6–12 hours per week cleaning their home.
• If your personal time is worth just $20 per hour, that’s $120–$240 worth of your time every week.
• A professional cleaning visit often costs less than what many families spend on takeout, streaming subscriptions, or coffee runs each month.

Let’s put it into perspective:

✔️ A family of 4 can easily spend $60–$100 on one restaurant meal.
✔️ Daily coffee habits can cost $100–$200+ per month.
✔️ Many recurring home cleanings cost about the same as a few convenience purchases each month while saving you hours of work.

The real question isn’t:
❌ “Can I afford a cleaning service?”

It’s:
✅ “What is my free time worth?”

Imagine spending your weekends:
• With your family
• Watching your kids’ games
• Relaxing
• Working on hobbies
• Growing your business

Instead of scrubbing bathrooms and mopping floors.

At Cleaner Up, we believe a clean home should be affordable and accessible—not a luxury reserved for the wealthy.

Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and one-time cleanings available.

What’s one thing you’d rather do this weekend than clean your house? Tell us below! 👇

Did you know most people underestimate how much bacteria builds up in a home within just 7 days of normal use

Studies show high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, countertops, and remote controls can carry thousands of germs per square inch even when they look clean. In many homes, the kitchen sponge alone can hold more bacteria than a toilet seat if it is not replaced or properly sanitized.

The real issue is not visible dirt it is the invisible buildup that accumulates between routine cleanings. Dust, oils, and bacteria continue to layer, especially in busy households, which can impact overall cleanliness, air quality, and the feel of your space.

A consistent professional clean helps reset that buildup before it becomes a problem. It is not just about appearance it is about maintaining a healthier environment week after week.

If your home has not had a deep reset recently, you may be surprised at what a detailed clean can change in how your space looks, feels, and functions.

The average homeowner spends 5–7 hours per week cleaning. Over a year, that’s 260–364 hours spent scrubbing, dusting, mopping, and organizing.

✅ Cleaning Yourself
• 260–364 hours per year
• Cost of supplies, equipment, and your personal time
• Cleaning quality depends on available time and energy

✅ Professional Cleaning
• Most homeowners spend $150–$250 per visit
• Saves hundreds of hours each year
• Consistent deep cleaning helps reduce dust, allergens, bacteria, and stress

If your time is worth just $20/hour, 312 hours of cleaning equals $6,240 worth of your time annually.

Professional cleaning isn’t just about having a clean home—it’s about getting your weekends back, reducing stress, and enjoying a healthier living environment.

What’s more valuable: spending your Saturday cleaning, or spending it with family and friends?

Most people think professional cleaning is expensive. The truth? Not cleaning can cost you more.

The average person spends over 300 hours a year cleaning their home. That's nearly two full weeks of your life spent scrubbing, dusting, and mopping.

A professionally cleaned home doesn't just look better—it can help reduce dust, allergens, bacteria, and other contaminants that affect indoor air quality. Studies have also linked cleaner, less cluttered homes to lower stress levels and improved overall well-being.

When you consider the value of your time, the cost of supplies, and the health benefits, professional cleaning is often far more affordable than people realize.

What would you do with an extra 6 hours every week?

Before you start your weekend deep clean, set a timer for 15 minutes and focus on just one room. Most people are surprised by how much they can accomplish in a short amount of time!

Start with visible clutter
Wipe high-touch surfaces
Vacuum or sweep high-traffic areas
Make the beds

A clean home doesn’t always require hours of work—small, consistent cleaning sessions can make a huge difference.

What’s the one area of your home that always seems to need attention? Let us know in the comments!

A dirty stovetop isn’t just about appearance — studies show kitchen surfaces can carry more bacteria than many bathroom areas when grease and food buildup are left sitting over time.

Grease buildup can:
• Hold bacteria and odors
• Create smoke while cooking
• Shorten the life of your stove
• Increase risk of kitchen fires

According to the National Fire Protection Association, cooking equipment is the leading cause of home fires in the U.S. — and grease buildup plays a major role.

The average homeowner wipes the surface…
Professional cleaners detail the corners, burners, buildup, drip areas, and grime most people miss.

And most importantly — don’t ever feel embarrassed about buildup in your kitchen. Life gets busy. Work, kids, stress, health, and everyday living catch up to all of us sometimes. That’s exactly why cleaning companies like ours exist — to help, not judge.

A clean kitchen just feels different.
