Some supplier relationships feel like transactions. Orders in, material out, invoice paid.
Ours feel different because we built them to.

Our 1st Core Value: We Care About People, shows up through:
✅ Calling to check in before you need to reach out
✅ Visits on-site because the relationship matters enough to show up in person
✅ Asking how things are going because we genuinely want to know

Being good people is not separate from being a good supplier, they are the same thing here.

Our partners have enough on their plates. We carry the supplier side as completely as we can, that's what showing up for someone actually looks like.

Long-term relationships are not a growth strategy for us. They are what naturally happens when people feel genuinely cared for every time they interact with our team.

Our care doesn't clock out. The way we show up at work is the same way we show up everywhere else.

The world of vinyl textile fabrics is small, but it has a large chain of impact on the applications that use them.

Although our management team brings more than 200 years of combined industry experience, we also draw from backgrounds in:
Healthcare: where materials protect people
Education: complex ideas become clear
Oil and gas: logistics and tough questions are not optional
Sporting goods: performance is proven in real-world use
Silicon valley: where building systems is how high-stakes work scales

That mix is not a recruiting accident. We combine decades of textile experience and extensive backgrounds with our deep Core Values to build the team that best serves our partners.

It's why working with us feels different from working with any other vinyl supplier. You get a team that looks at your challenge from more angles than any one industry would teach them to.

A fabric can have excellent tear strength, so how can it lose to a single puncture?

Puncture force can be sharp, like a trailer corner, or blunt, like a ball hitting a wall pad. Either way, one impact can turn into an unplanned tear, repair, or replacement.

Puncture resistance depends on how each fabric layer is built.
✅ Base cloth and weave density absorb the force
✅ Coating adhesion strength that keeps the coating and base yarns working together after impact
✅ Yarn tenacity redistributes stress around the impact point

Every Value Vinyls fabric is purpose-built layer by layer, then pushed to its breaking point in our V2 Performance Lab through 16 destructive tests: puncture, tear, adhesion, and more.

Our fabrics carry your name. We make sure their performance isn't a sourcing decision you have to defend.

Indoor and outdoor athletic vinyl may share the same category, but that doesn't mean they should be built the same way. Here's why that matters.

School gym wall pads live indoors in climate control, around kids.
Outdoor stadium wall pads face sun, rain, and wide temperature swings.

Value Vinyls engineers our fabrics for the exact demands of your application:
✅ Yarn, weave, and coating set structural strength and impact performance
✅ Coating weight and adhesion support repeated contact
✅ Cold-flex properties built for unheated or seasonal environments
✅ Surface chemistry tuned for UV exposure indoors or out

Outdoor athletic vinyl is not indoor vinyl with a different sticker. It's a different build for a different environment.

Vinyl fabric for athletics fails differently depending on your application and location.
Here's how to compare PVC coated fabrics for athletic gear.

Trampoline pad covers take repeated jumping, landing, and cleaning.
Gymnastics mat covers endure dragging, folding, and chalk.
Stadium wall pad or tennis court windscreens handle ball impact and weather.

Same industry category. Different performance requirements.
✅ Abrasion patterns differ by contact type
✅ UV exposure is handled differently for indoor and outdoor applications
✅ Cold crack behavior matters in seasonal or outdoor environments
✅ Cleaning cycles wear coating faster than most spec sheets account for

After 42 years of providing vinyl textile solutions to the industry's biggest challenges, our team provides the guidance and fabrics you need to make your next project successful.

Where is the purchasing risk actually coming from when your vinyl application questions are already dialed in?

It comes from suppliers who don't ask their own. They quote on fabric weight and compliance, not much more.

Value Vinyls treats every project as its own conversation.
✅ We review your application before quoting, including environment, exposure, contact type, and cleaning cycle
✅ Fabric samples are sent for you to test before you buy
✅ If the product is not right for the use, we recommend what will perform
✅ You work with a technical expert in your application, not just a sales rep

That's the difference between a supplier who ships to spec and a partner who protects your project behind it.

That's why businesses across North America have relied on Value Vinyls as their vinyl fabric partner for over 42 years.

Outdoor stadium wall pad fabric fails differently than indoor ones do.
When the fabric is not properly protected, warranty complaints can start surfacing before the season is over. These are the most common reasons.

❌ UV exposure fades color and eats the coating
❌ Surface abrasion thins the material under repeated impact, worsened by weather
❌ Once the surface weakens, early breakdown failure follows

Asking the right application questions before sourcing helps you reduce that risk, but application is only half the conversation.

So if early fabric failure complaints still follow, where is the risk actually coming from?

Find out on Thursday. It's already shaping your exposure before the order is even placed.

Don't want to wait? Give us a call and let's compare what you're seeing in your outdoor fabric against what is showing up across the market right now.

This certain style of trailer became so associated with retractable sliding tarp systems that the whole category took the name.
(We have the answer to this week's trivia question).

Most truck tarp fabric was not built for collapsible frames. Tempo 680 was created for these systems.

A rolling tarp covers the roof and both sides as one piece, cycling through tension and compression every time the frame moves to expose the entire flatbed. The fabric has to hold up to all of it.

✅ Wide-width and weldable to reduce seams and fabrication time
✅ Gloss finish that sheds dirt and holds fleet graphics mile after mile
✅ Two versions: Tempo 680S for conventional frames, Tempo 680PB for multi-panel systems

The right match between fabric and frame is where performance starts.. https://bit.ly/4fsWETp

Tuesday's trivia answer: the Conestoga trailer

05/19/2026

Retractable sliding tarp systems put far more stress on fabric than standard flatbed covers were built for.
(Fair warning: if you're in transportation, this week's trivia might be easy.)

A standard truck tarp is not built for collapsible frames. It gets pushed through thousands of open-and-close tension cycles and wears differently than most buyers expect.

Tempo 680 was engineered for exactly this.
✅ 20 oz weight moves with frame tension without breaking down
✅ Holds color and strength in open road sun
✅ Resists the daily abuse of loading and unloading
✅ Printable surface that stays clean between jobs

Two versions matched to different frame types, so the fabric fits how each system actually moves in the field.

Industry trivia: Retractable sliding tarp systems are commonly associated with one trailer brand name that became the generic term for the whole system category, the way Kleenex did for tissues. Do you know it? Answer posts Thursday.

Cleaning is where many athletic vinyls quietly fail.
Daily wipe-downs, harsh cleaners, and repeated friction expose materials that were never built for ongoing maintenance.

They look fine early, then surface breakdown shows up faster than expected through:
❌ Loss of flexibility
❌ Dulling color
❌ Premature wear

When vinyl is formulated with cleaning in mind, not treated as an afterthought, proper maintenance protects both performance and the value of your investment.
