GAMBLER MANIA
New to the race. This will be a side entry to boost the purse . It is not necessary to enter but you may forfeit the chance at the cash if you do not . Entry to gambler paid at Madson Racing Trailer .

The highest placing entered racer in each class will win the side pot .

Example… 10 cars enter Quick Gambler ( total $500) . The winner of the class ( if entered in the Gambler ) receives the additional money . That makes the class win worth $1250. If the class winner did not enter the Gambler, the next highest placing entry will win the money . The runner up racer ( if entered in the gambler ) would win the $500 and runner up money .

Travel
We are hopeful that the I-70 interstate is open to some form of travel through Glenwood Canyon . We understand the extra effort to attend the event . Please refer to CDOT for travel information. Denver area racers may need to travel north to Steamboat Springs . Colorado Springs area racers may need to travel south through Gunnison . Utah & New Mexico friends please be safe on your regular roads .

Hotel
Please note that the weekend of September 18th & 19th is also the Palisade Wine Fest . This is a big deal and hotels will be a challenge. Book early . Other towns to check hotel availability. Fruita , 20 miles west of Grand Jct. Delta , 30 miles South of Grand Jct . Parachute 30 miles East if Grand Junction . Depending on your travel directions, these towns could be of assistance.

Friday Night Testing
All VW Racers from out of town can participate in the Friday Night Street Drags. The track always goes out of its way for you the VW Racers . Gates open 6 pm . Tech card and entry required .

Saturday event
Gates open 11 am
$15 gate entry per person
$50 tech card ( Quick $ Sport )
Please arrive by 11 am to pit and tech .
The MSVWRA will ALWAYS work to find pit accommodations. Test n tune and qualifying round will occur approximately 2 pm . First round will occur 6pm

Consolation Race
The MSVWRA understands that racing is important. There will be a consolation combined round ( Quick & Sport ) weather permitting. Entry is $20 for each racer whom lost in first round . $100 base pay plus 60 / 40 split on entry money . Trophy’s winner / runner up .
