Check out this bathroom! Conversion from tub to shower. Customized each bar to her specific needs. We LOVE making each project extra special for the homeowner.

Another family safe! This one looks very similar, however, the plumbing was deleted on the right side and we customized the safety rails and installed a lower shower pan with a wall mounted bench seat. New Flooring and Cove Base.

❤️ A Home Isn't Just Where You Live... It's Where You Begin Again.

There are projects that remodel a house...

…and then there are projects that help reset a family's future.

The Weimer Project was one of those.

As you scroll through these before and after photos, you'll certainly notice the fresh paint, new flooring, the beautifully remodeled accessible bathroom, and the brighter living spaces. But what you can't see, but CERTAINTLY can FEEL in a photograph is what matters most.

You can't see the weight that's been lifted, but can feel it.

You can't see the renewed hope, but can feel it.

You can't see the peace that comes from knowing your home is once again a place that works for you instead of against you, but you can feel it.

For this family, this wasn't simply a remodel—it was an opportunity to start fresh.

At Safe Space Builders, we believe every family deserves to live in a home that is safe, functional, and dignified. Accessibility isn't about adding grab bars or widening doorways. It's about restoring independence, creating confidence, and allowing someone to remain in the home they love with greater freedom and security.

Watching this home transform reminded us why we do what we do every single day.

None of this would have been possible without an incredible team.

💙 A heartfelt thank you to Housing Resources of Western Colorado for helping make this project possible through their funding assistance. Your commitment to improving lives in our community is making a lasting difference.

💙 A special thank you to Wendy Genkov for your continued partnership and dedication to helping families receive the support they deserve. Your heart for this community never goes unnoticed.

🚪 A huge shout-out to Monument Garage Doors for generously donating the new garage door for this family. Your kindness is more than a donation—it is an investment in someone's future, and we are incredibly grateful.

🔨 To every subcontractor, supplier, and tradesperson who worked alongside us—thank you. Your craftsmanship, professionalism, and willingness to serve made this transformation possible. We truly couldn't do what we do without each of you. (JW Plumbing, Bold Electric, Air Doctor, EG & GE, Scott Garoutte, Xtract Environmental, Discount Cabinets, Hands of Stone, Destrie Hayhurst, All Pro Moving, Onsite Storage, Vigilant Construction, Vigilant Roofing, Bratton Windows, Mavs Services, The Siding Guy, Four Seasons Gutters, Accurate Insulation)

🏡 To the neighbors, thank you for your patience while we filled your street with construction vehicles, noise, deliveries, and a little extra traffic over the past several weeks. Your understanding and support allowed us to focus on giving this family the home they deserve.

Finally......

To the Weimer family—

Thank you for trusting us with your home.

It has been an honor to walk this journey with you.

May these walls hold laughter, healing, new memories, and fresh beginnings for many years to come.

Because sometimes the greatest remodel isn't the one you see...

It's the one that happens inside the people who get to call it home.

💙 A Heartfelt Thank You to Monument Garage Door! 💙

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Monument Garage Door for their incredible generosity in donating a new garage door for our Weimer Project.

This project is especially meaningful to us. It is focused on making a home safer and more accessible so a grandson can continue caring for his grandmother in the comfort of the home she loves. It truly takes a community coming together to make projects like this possible.

Because of Monument Garage Door's kindness and willingness to give back, this family will receive not only a beautiful new garage door, but also one more piece of mind knowing their home is becoming safer, more functional, and more secure.

We are incredibly grateful to Dane and the entire team at Monument Garage Door for partnering with us and helping make a lasting difference in the lives of this wonderful family.
