The GRACE Cancer Foundation’s Race For Grace is always a hit!

I was happy to again play a small part in making it another memorable year and to of course celebrate and honor so many loved ones in the battle against cancer.

Thanks to Josh Salmon of The Independent for some of the more candid shots from the race!

I haven’t been sharing all the stories I’ve written for HuskerMax, but getting to cover history in the making has been pretty fun this week.

Here’s my most recent write-up on the play that sent the Huskers to the Sweet 16.

The annual Race for Grace is officially less than a month away, and I'm happy to be returning for another year to emcee the race!

Just a quick reminder about the updated course options for this year’s race:

• The 10K remains unchanged

This past weekend, I was once again fortunate enough to be able to emcee the Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity's Build a Dream Dinner and Auction.

I mentioned this at the start of the night, but being able to see this organization from this unique perspective, they're not just building a dream. They're building a legacy of giving and caring in Grand Island that is pretty darn special. I'm glad to play just a small part in it!

I’m honored (and slightly amused) to be nominated and selected as an Admiral in the Great Navy of Nebraska — a pretty impressive title for a landlocked state.

In all seriousness, I’m grateful and appreciative of Grand Island City Council Member Doug Brown for the nomination!

I’ll wear it with pride…and of course keep an eye out for the nearest ship.

Merry Christmas from the Schuberts! Our indoor security cameras caught a few visitors last night!

The Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity never ceases to amaze me. Last night they raised a new Mr. Habitat competition record $97,321.86!

Getting to emcee events like this gives me a front row seat to seeing how awesome the Grand Island community is, especially when it comes to supporting great organizations like the Habitat.

Year 5 was a wild ride, but now we have a big, bad 6-year-old! Watch out!

Snapped this a few days ago. The neighbors sure have a good sense of humor 😂☠️

I’m always thankful for the opportunity to emcee the GRACE Cancer Foundation’s annual gala. It was an awesome experience seeing so many people come out to support such a great cause!

This past Saturday was a fun one and a first for me!

The Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation & Chamber of Commerce asked if I would hop on and help broadcast their annual Harvest of Harmony Parade, and it was a blast!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been in “TV mode,” so it was great getting to be a part of such a great production and statewide parade! It’s an awesome event for Grand Island, and I’m thankful to have been able to play a small role in it!
