Holiday Express will be hosting a "Walk In Wednesday" hiring event from 11 am - 1 pm on Wednesday, June 24 at the NE Department of Labor, 03 E Stolley Park Rd in Grand Island.

School is out but you've probably seen a few of our buses on the road. Why? Summer school!

Our dedicated drivers work throughout most of this month to get students to and from summer programs. We appreciate all our drivers working this month to get everyone where they need to go.

This month's D.R.I.V.E. Award winner is Jim Sweeney! Jim was nominated for his great attendance, attitude and ability to make his passengers feel safe and respected. Thanks for your work, Jim!

We wanted to quickly shout out our fantastic bus cleaners, JL and Caryn who are hard at work this morning doing the dirty work of bus undercarriage cleaning. It's a dirty job and we appreciate them doing it!

We recently put up a small, memorial plaque to someone who had a big impact.

Jennifer Foster was a young woman who grew close with Deb Larsen, our training officer. Their bond started at the church they attended and Deb became friends with Jennifer and her parents, Brad and Michelle.

When Jennifer passed away last year, it was decided that her wheelchair would be donated to Holiday Express so we can train drivers on the best ways to secure other riders with similar challenges.

As the plaque says, "her impact to the world will live on".

Our drivers brought Brock, our Operations Manager, a "Last Day of School" crown for today!

We are just a few routes away from the last day of school!

It takes so many people to put together a successful year - safety minded drivers, patient paras, dependable dispatchers, communicative staff and parents who keep an eye out for the bus.

We had our "End of Year" meeting and cookout today for all our drivers and paras. While school still has a few days left, we took the opportunity to celebrate all our employees and all they've accomplished this year.
