Meet the Model: Lori Hansen

Lori is walking as a breast cancer fighter whose journey has taken her from a stage 2 diagnosis in 2015 to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in 2023. Through infusions, bone metastasis, brain radiation, and ongoing treatment, Lori continues to lean on her faith, her family, and the support of GRACE throughout her journey.

Be part of an evening that honors the strength of fighters, survivors, families, and everyone impacted by cancer at GRACE on the Runway on July 9 from 6:00-9:00pm at Younes Conference Center North in Kearney.

Meet the Model: Jeff Bassett

Jeff is walking in honor of his grandfathers, Jimmie Lee Rennerfeldt and Dean “Cookie” Bassett. Losing them at different stages of life gave Jeff two very different perspectives on grief, family, and the lasting impact of cancer. While Jimmie’s absence left him with curiosity and wonder, Cookie’s cancer journey taught him to slow down, cherish the people he loves, and appreciate the moments shared with family.

GRACE on the Runway honors the stories, memories, and families touched by cancer while helping support local patients and loved ones today. Join us Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM at Younes Conference Center North in Kearney.

Meet the Model: Hannah Washington

Hannah is walking in honor of her Aunt Joyce, a strong and spirited woman who lived authentically and wholeheartedly. Known for her humor, confidence, and bold personality, Joyce left an impression on Hannah through the memories they shared. After breast cancer impacted their family, she carries Joyce’s memory with her as she walks in her honor.

Meet the Model: Kristi Gargan

Kristi is walking in honor of her father, Don Andrews. Don was her idol and constant presence from childhood into adulthood, whether they were watching NASCAR and hockey, spending weekends at his office, or talking during their almost-daily 3:00 p.m. phone calls. After losing him to stage 4 lung cancer in 2009, Kristi carries both the love they shared and the impact cancer left on her family.

Every story shared on the runway reflects the lasting impact cancer has on families and loved ones. Your support helps ensure no one has to face that journey alone.
