Why should you powder coat your products instead of painting them?

1- Powder Coating is much harder then traditional paint, which makes it much more scratch and chip resistant.
2- Powder Coating is also extremely flexible and has a much less chance of flaking off like paint will.
3- Powder Coating is a thicker coverage then paint. This means the there is a greater protection between the outside world and the bare metal.
4- Powder Coating is incredibly corrosion resistant when prepped and applied correctly. If you scratch paint, there will be a good chance of exposing the metal to the elements that allows rust to begin. Powder is way more scratch resistant which in turn makes it more corrosion resistant.

If you manufacture products or design and make custom items for yourself or customers, give powder coating a try. There are thousands of colors and textures that can be applied.
