Car felt strong all day at Russell's M-40 Speedway. We messed up on the money lap in qualifying, I just drove it in too hard and hit the crossmember on the track but we were still able to qualify P3.
Come feature time, I truly felt like we had the best car in the race. We just didn’t get through traffic quick enough and ended the night with a P2 finish.
We’ll be taking this next week off to spend time with family and honor a great man we lost this week. My stepdad Kevin never missed many races when my brother and I were racing. No matter what, he was always there supporting us.

Recap on our night at Kalamazoo Speedway!
Tonight we qualified 10th quick out of 24 cars and picked up the heat race win. We started the feature from the 2nd row outside and felt like we had a really solid car early on. After a few laps the car just wasn’t driving right, so we pulled in under caution on lap 10 and found a right rear flat tire.
The crew went right to work, got it changed, and sent us back out starting 19th. We were able to drive back through the field and salvage a 9th place finish.
Overall, the car is still in one piece and we’ll reset and be ready to go tomorrow at Russell’s M-40 Speedway!

The car was really good today at Russell's M-40 Speedway! We had some transponder issues throughout hot laps, but thankfully the track crew was able to get everything fixed before qualifying.
We qualified P2, finished P2 in the heat race, and brought home another P2 finish in the feature! The speed was there all night, and we’re continuing to build consistency every time we hit the track.

Qualified P4 and finished P2 to cap off the night.
Cold and windy conditions made it tough, but the track made a great call cutting heat races and going straight to features, something I think everyone appreciated.
