It’s exciting to see continued investment in the film and production industry right here in the Hudson Valley. Projects like this help put our region on the map while creating new opportunities for jobs, small businesses, and economic growth.

The new sound stage has the potential to attract productions from across the state and beyond. Bringing with it skilled trades, hospitality spending, creative industry jobs, and long-term economic impact for our communities.

Looking forward to seeing this project continue to grow and the opportunities it will create for the Town of Montgomery and the surrounding region.

This week, our President & CEO attended the New York State Economic Development Council Annual Conference in Newburgh and participated in the “40 Under 40 Leaders Shape the Future of Economic Development” panel.

The discussion highlighted how the next generation of leaders is helping shape the future of economic development through innovation, collaboration, and new approaches to addressing evolving opportunities and challenges across New York State.

🏗️ BUILDING ADVANCED MANUFACTURING CLUSTER IN ORANGE COUNTY, NY ⚙️

Yesterday, the Orange County Partnership was proud to collaborate with Poly Craft Industries on the ribbon cutting ceremony for their new 72,000 SF advanced manufacturing facility in the City of Middletown.

Our President & CEO, Conor Eckert, shared the story of attracting Poly Craft Industries to Orange County - which was a team effort that included Empire State Development, Orange County Government, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc., the City of Middletown, our state legislative delegation and many others.

This project represents an impactful investment in advanced manufacturing right here in Orange County, NY - creating over 100 new jobs and positioning our market as a strategic location for package manufacturing.
