We are here and ready at the Goshen Farmers Market this Tuesday afternoon!

Here’s an easy one…
Clue: The leaves taste like mild spinach, and the stalks make a great substitute for celery.
What is it?!

We needed to find a better way to grow root vegetables without battling w**d overgrowth. This year we decided to try something different. We laid down a thick layer of compost, very thick, and direct seeded our root crops into it.

The results are incredible! Not only have the w**ds been easier to manage, but the root vegetables are thriving!
