I got a 4th of July special request, so I ordered some themed yarn, but let's just say I found a 'red hot' deal on some other blanket yarn and didn't quite read the fine print on the package size. Now I've got a gigantic box of yarn and Kitty Yarn Inspector #5 gives it two paws up, by the way, he’s checking its softness.

I’ve been a bit behind on by Projectarian and Hobbii. But I’ve just wrapped up week 2, and am about to start week 3. 😅 hopefully I’ll have week 2 done by Wednesday night so I’m caught up and ready to start week 3 Thursday when it comes out.
The timeout advice is one I follow for many reasons. Sometimes it’s because the project frustrates me, sometimes it’s because I’m frustrated with myself, and sometimes it’s because I’m frustrated with some type of limitation I have (like not being able to sit in my normal spot to put big projects together). The other advice on this list I’ve had to really teach myself is to use the right hook. So many times I would work on a project and be frustrated with how much work it was, and then one day I tried using a different hook size and style for something and it was so much easier. Total game changer.

When the receptionist at your physical therapist office is a huge geek like yourself, you can’t help but make something for them. So, since she’s a huge Harry Potter fan, I whipped up a baby Mandrake as a thank you for all she’s done to help with my long knee recovery. Hopefully, she’s been minding her muffs.

30 Rows done on this Corner to Corner graph-ghan blanket. About 160 more rows to go. It’s been forever since I’ve done a C2C (corner to corner) blanket and I’d forgotten how fun they are to make.

There’s nothing like getting a surprise present from your aunt to support your craft. Today I got a surprise Amazon delivery with this sweet book inside and a note from my aunt that she can’t wait to see what I make from it.
So, on top of my other projects I think it’s going to be time to light the lights and make the Muppets come to life.
