Please spread the word that tonight’s Gooding High School Graduation will be streamed on Facebook. It begins at 7 PM!

Graduation is here! We wanted to share a little information to help make it a great night for our graduates, their families, our staff, and the whole community. This is the most exciting event of the school year and we want it to go smoothly!

The ceremony will begin at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 26th at the GHS Gym. Doors open at 6 pm and all public seating is first come, first serve. If you need reserved spots for the elderly or for the disabled, please contact the high school secretary by noon on Tuesday, May 26th.

Due to large crowds in the past, we have added a few seats that are available to the public in the white chairs. They are in rows 9-11 and they are also first come, first serve. You can see the picture below for reference.

We do have a few rules for graduation:

Because they can interfere with others' ability to see and hear the ceremony, there can be no artificial noisemakers, no balloons, and no signs inside the school. Please keep them in your car until after the ceremony when they can be presented to the graduates for pictures, memories, etc.

We have the same policy for extra decorations on graduation caps and gowns or around the graduates’ necks. Only school approved decorations are allowed. Please wait until after the ceremony to put additional decorations on the graduates’ uniforms.

Because this is a family event with many youth involved, clothing that refers to gangs, alcohol, drugs, violence, profanity, or anything else that is not school appropriate is not allowed.

No food or drink.

Please do not bring confetti, glitter, or other similar items which will create additional work for our cleanup crew.

National Honor Society Induction

Join us Wednesday, May 20th at 6:00 PM in the High School Gym as we celebrate our newest National Honor Society inductees!
Formal dress is required for all inductees.

While you’re here, be sure to stop by the Art Show in the Multi-Use Room and enjoy the amazing work from our talented students!

We had some great things happen at Gooding High School this week! Farm Safety Day, Band and Choir concerts, and a state sendoff for Softball, Track, and Tennis! Add in a State Academic championship for our girls track team, and we’ve had a lot to be proud of this week and this year!

GHS Physical night is coming up! This is a good fundraiser for GHS Athletics and a great opportunity to get your physical and paperwork done so athletes are ready to go when sports start in August!

Congratulations to our Gooding High School girls track team! They were named the STATE ACADEMIC CHAMPIONS with a combined GPA of 3.790!

It is an incredible accomplishment that shows the commitment, hard work, and intelligence of these girls, their families, and our GHS teachers!

It's almost hard to believe, but GHS graduation is nearly here! It's on Tuesday, May 26th at 7 pm in the high school gym. Doors open at 6 pm, and seating is first come, first serve. Graduating seniors who have family members who need wheelchair spots or need to reserve bottom row seating for health reasons, please request those through the GHS office in advance.

Seniors will have a walk through that morning at 8 am in caps and gowns, and then have the senior march in the GEMS building at about 10 am. Graduates need to be back at the school by 6 pm that night and meet in the Multi-use room.

We are so excited for our graduating seniors and their families as we celebrate their accomplishments!
