Aniston Jacobson
Has been at NVA for ten years total (but have traded on and off between this school, GES, and homeschooling).
Favorite Memory: " My favorite memories from my time at NVA have been creating "Above & Beyond" skits with my class. It has been fun creating and performing dances, silly skits, and creative ways we found deeper meaning in each month's verse. One of my favorite skits we did was in my junior year based on the poem "The Man in the Glass." We all dressed up like Michael Jackson and created our own dance for his song, "Man in the Mirror." It was an extremely memorable time with my class, and I have enjoyed all the opportunities Above & Beyonds have given us to be creative and silly together. Every time people ask what my "favorite memory" of my time somewhere was, I always think, every time I laughed.”
Future Plans: " The summer following graduation, I will begin serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Phoenix, Arizona for about 18 months. I will then attend Brigham Young University-Idaho (which I have already been accepted to) and pursue a degree in Theatre Arts. I will hopefully also take classes focused on psychology or social sciences. The main goal for my life after high school is to continue following God, get sealed and married in a temple of God, and raise a family close to God.”
" I would like to thank ~all of my family, all my teachers I've had, myself 🙂, and God~ for pushing me to always keep learning and teaching me how to smile through each day.”

Madeline Stevie Covey
Has been at NVA for 13 years, Kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Favorite Memory: " My favorite memory from NVA is our school trip to Europe 2025. I made memories there that will forever be engraved in my mind: the first time I rode a plane, seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night, meeting my best friend Julia in London, and going on crazy fair rides, being the first people to hold a patriot dollar on the London Eye, and especially when our tour guide shook the seat in front of him on the plane and yelled, "Turbulence!!" four different times because he thought she was with us, she was sitting next to me, and was indeed a total stranger, later, he was a little mad at me for not telling him, but man was it funny.”
Future Plans: " My plans for the future are to work at a private fishing lodge in Alaska for the summer, and after I get home, I would like to move to Montana and travel the world, go wherever the wind takes me!”
" I would like to thank my parents for always providing me with everything I need to take on the world, for giving me grace in moments, and encouraging me to always stay strong and true to what I believe. My parents have sacrificed everything to give me the life I live today, and they will always be my heroes. I would like to thank my built-in best friend, Aunt Emmy, for always being my partner in crime. She has been the biggest influence in my life, and I owe my spunky personality to her influence. And I also would like to thank my best friend, Molly Rogers. I couldn't have survived without her; she keeps me smiling and laughing every day. And to her family, who took me in as an extra daughter, thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being there, even when you are hundreds of miles away. Lastly, I would like to thank my teachers for pushing me for the last 13 years. Every day, you all taught me to believe in myself and Mr. Barnes, and Ms. Stephenson never failed to brighten my day. I thank God for all the people he put into my life to build me into who I am today. With genuine gratitude, I thank you all for everything.”

Favorite Memory: "My favorite memory of NVA is meeting nice teachers throughout the years who have helped me understand the lessons. The most memorable times have been helping teachers. I especially like serving ice cream on PBIS ice cream days.”
Future Plans: "My future plans are to attend WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming. I will be learning about diesel mechanics. After earning my degree, I plan on returning to Idaho. When I return to Idaho, I would like to work at the Big Wood Canal Company in Shoshone. After I establish my career, I will start a family.”
"I would like to thank my mom and dad for always being there and supporting me. They also gave me the opportunity to work at the Canal Company during my senior project. I would like to thank Brad and Darren for helping me during the mentorship, which taught me so much. I want to thank Mrs. Sparks for helping me with my schoolwork and encouraging me throughout my high school career. I want to thank Mr. Barnes for helping me understand my senior project.”

Kiera Parish
Has been at NVA since fourth grade, 9 years total.
Favorite Memory: " My favorite memory is from last year's spring play. I got to come and hang out with all of the drama kids as they got ready and I snuck a sandwich to feed Gabby since she hadn't eaten anything. I got to listen to all of their stories and laugh with them and watch them get ready.”
Future Plans: " I plan on working with my mother at her veterinary clinic and going through CSI's veterinary technician program to get certified. Afterwards I will probably move away and do stuff with marine biology and exotic animals.”
"I would like to thank Mrs. Robin for always being there and for helping me out and being a great teacher and 4H helper. I would also like to thank my sister for being my best friend and always believing in me. I love doing music together and I'm so thankful for her always being there and constantly helping me out in everything that I do. I couldn't ask for a better sister or better best friend.”
