Nothing beats hearing that a lesson was both informative and fun, and that’s exactly what one parent shared about their son’s experience at XLB Training. We work hard to make every session clear, upbeat, and focused so players leave confident and excited to come back. Whether your athlete needs indoor batting cages time to get extra reps or private batting lessons with detailed coaching, we build skills step by step. Our baseball hitting lessons are great for youth players who want better swing mechanics and more consistent contact. Families from Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Lake Worth, and West Palm Beach come to train here because the progress feels real and the environment stays positive. Not all lifts carry over to the mound 👀⚾️

Not every exercise needs to look like pitching to help you throw harder 👀

4 PVC drills to clean up your pitching mechanics 🧹⚾️
These are simple, but each one has a specific purpose:
1️⃣ PVC HIP FIRE
Create hip/shoulder separation by relaxing the upper half and allowing the pelvis to rotate underneath you.
2️⃣ PVC TUNNEL
Forces good direction. Work your center of mass toward the target through delivery without letting the head and chest pull you out.
3️⃣ HIP FIRE + CHOP
Feel separation while adding the arm path. The PVC keeps the upper half connected. Feel the “chop” DOWN.
4️⃣ FULL DELIVERY
Put it all together and find the timing of the correct sequence.
The goal isn’t to just “look” better mechanically — it’s to learn how to move better, sequence better, and repeat your delivery.
📲 Save this for your next throwing session & send it to a pitcher who needs it.

Most kids get a couple hours a week to work on their game, and a good chunk of that goes to warming up and getting locked in.
A full day changes what we can actually get to. We hit, we work defense, we get on the mound, and we spend real time on how they move, because speed and body control are what separate the boys who keep climbing.
Small groups. Every rep coached. Lunch is on us, so all you’re packing is baseball gear.
Monday, September 21
8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
$100 for the day
Ages 6-10
Spots are capped by space, not by how many we’d like to fill. If your son is serious, grab the spot and we’ll take care of the rest.

Your player takes a lesson Tuesday. By Saturday, the swing looks like it did before.
That’s not a bad coach, and it’s not a lazy kid. It’s how skills actually get built. A change made in one session lives in short-term memory. It only becomes theirs through repeated, spread-out reps; a little on Wednesday, a little on Friday, a little Sunday. Thirty swings of the same drill in one block feels productive in the moment and fades by the weekend.
So here’s the free version. Ask the coach for one cue at the end of every lesson; one, not five. Then run it three times that week in ten-minute pieces: tee work Wednesday, front toss Friday, dry swings in the living room Sunday. Ten minutes, three days. That’s it. That’s what makes the hour worth what you paid for it.
Fall is when this is actually possible. Fewer games, fewer weekends gone, real room in the week. It’s the one stretch of the year where a kid can change something instead of just maintaining it.
Save this, or send it to a baseball parent who’s wondering why the lessons aren’t sticking.
