Hello Isla Vista! 🍁
We’ve waited a while to post because we did not want to take attention away from the enormity of the issues facing our community and our country. But that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy. To welcome everyone back we’d like to showcase our new mural, designed and painted by .raven.studio, an incredibly talented Black, local artist. We loved how the old mural showcased our Isla Vista community, but in the artist’s words, “The image is meant to simply and colorfully reflect a sense of empowerment in the journey towards justice for people of color the cannabis industry in the U.S., while bringing it home with the familiar elements of our Channel Islands star speckled sunset as the backdrop.” This new mural means a lot to us and falls perfectly in line with our mission. We hope you guys love it as much as we do!
