One week in and have used zero electricity in 2020. See those negative marks on the meter? I am making double and triple what I use. I could run my two neighbors homes. Imagine if every third house in your neighborhood had this setup we would not need anything but the sun to shine and we could tell the utility company ✌️.

Stand back- tapping 200 hot through 3 phase 800amps. Momma told me there’d be days like this.

Loose neutral. Someone added an island plug and tied the wires together under the house. The twist of a wire nut must be tight. If left loose, it will arc and spark possibly causing a fire. Luckily it just melted the wire nut in this case and we caught it.

41 year old breaker that didn’t trip. The wires loosened over the years and instead of tripping, the arc blew a hole in the side and stay hot on one leg. 2 dryers later they called to check the electrical. Just a reminder to have an electrical inspection when installing new appliances. A plumbing inspection is also advised.
