Proud to share the 5th annual Pencil Sharpening from a new point of view

I honor of photographing Inspired Generosity, a traveling exhibition presented by Alight in partnership with the WF Fund at the UROC University of Minnesota Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center.

This event amplifies powerful stories from the Muslim-American community, exploring how faith, hospitality, service, and care can create deep, meaningful change. It also highlighted local changemakers reflecting on leadership, faith, and daily generosity.

I really enjoyed the genuine moments of connection over storytelling, shared meals, and conversations that challenged narratives and celebrated community strength.

Congratulations to the AsianFair Tcwm organizers, community leaders, volunteers, and sponsors for putting together a tremendously successful 4th annual event. I really enjoyed photographing how vibrant cultures, traditions, and shared values amongst communities came together.

As a Chinese-American adoptee, I'm honored to have attended this celebration and look forward to making Minnesota a stronger, more vibrant, and more welcoming place for all of us.
