It was incredible to see so many Breck alumni in Atlanta this past Monday. Thank you, everyone, for showing the Alumni Office some southern hospitality. Until next time!

P.S. The song is by Mike Mattison ‘87, who lives in Atlanta

Amy Wendel ’86 knows the steepest climbs lead to the best views, regardless of whether they’re made of ice or indie film budgets. Her life experiences have taken her from Japanese studies in college, to mountaineering, to a classroom with Teach for America, and on to filmmaking. Amy’s journey is inspiring, and her work in the director’s chair has produced award-winning films. She shares her thoughts on her life experiences and introduces her new film, Relatively Normal, in our interview. You can read it here: breck.link/awendel.

We have another alumni feature from our most recent e-newsletter for you today. A huge thank you to the Wisely siblings, Willie ’83, Beth ’86, and Jake ’88, for sitting down for our first family-style interview. Each sibling left Breck to pursue different yet remarkably successful paths. From international concert stages to managing major music companies to university science labs, the Wiselys have certainly made their mark.

Have you read the latest alumni newsletter? We really enjoyed our feature with Dr. Curtis Langlotz ‘77, a pioneer in medical AI, and a Breck and Stanford alum. As the Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI) at Stanford and a professor of radiology and AI, he bridges the gap between cutting-edge engineering and life-saving clinical care. Read his story at: https://breck.link/langlotz. To check out the rest of the newsletter, head to the link in our bio!
