Check out this monster that John Richardson got at Lac qui Parle. That cold air from the north probably helped get this bruiser to move. Congratulations John and thank you Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for allowing us to facilitate this hunt for the disabled!

We started the deer season off with a bang last weekend at our Vermillion hunt. A total of 4 were taken. Lance harvested 2. It sure was a hot one out there but all had fun. Thanks for the pictures, Terrie!

Thanks to Stef and Kyle of Pullin' Strings Outdoors and Bob of American Excelsior Company for donating $300 from their March Ice Fishing contest fundraiser! Evan received the check.

Raffle Tickets are available! The drawing will be held at the banquet on March 8, 2025. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from Evan Newton. You can win tremendous prizes while supporting this great, volunteer-run organization.

Ken Bohanon, Bob Siekman,and Kris Bohanon are enjoying ice fishing to the fullest in the Orange Ice Castle on West Rush Lake. Let us know if you’d like ice fish with us at one of our ice houses.

Evan & Jason will be on BOB Country radio (106.1) today at 6:40p to talk about Capable Partners and the big bucks they got this last season.

Our Rosemount Gregg Runyan hunt was a success! Barry Hite with his Capable Partner and brother, Bruce bagged a solid buck and Jennifer Skiff with her husband Joel Skiff dropped a beautiful doe. Our President, Terrie Schrank got out as well but only got to shoot a couple pictures of some distant does—still a success to her!

A great time was had at LeBlanc's Rice Creek Hunting & Rec. last Saturday! We always appreciate the accommodations and effort from them to help put our members on birds. Thanks for sharing the pics Darrin Gotsch!
