It's been hectic so now I'm here just trying to slow down.

Love what I do but I won't be skipping time off on my birthday and Memorial Day!!!

The elegance and bliss of the Flower Show!!! The flower show has always influenced my designs and been a huge influence on me!!! This year's theme was Rooted!!!

Thankful for my grandmother and the legacy that she left me with 😘. This is her machine restored from the 1940s or 50s from Gimbels company!!!

Chicken fingers in between while I solve the problem. Needs a good press out and steam! Don't let the surface print fool you- it's still cotton poplin. I should have ordered more didn't know I would fall in love with it working with less than 2 yards. Have to play it smart here and take it carefully not a ton left.

Finishing up a birthday request for a family member that wanted a waist apron!!! Hahaha! I promise moving on from aprons for now!! I had a small obsession!!

Kick off week is ALOT like rushing for a sorority!!! I didn't bring brand new pieces just in case someone decides to walk off with something or randomly has something or oils on their hands. Older is better in this scenario. Didn't have time to make a full-blown sign with a presentation board but some groups didn't have any display or books on their table. Managed to get candy on the display to attract some interest. Something is better than nothing if the idea is ready to go. Sewing For God will start on February 1st after the church service!! Knitters and crochet are welcome to hangout in our maker space. Group is also open for outside members!!! See you soon!!

Join us as we come together with the folks from in creating charity quilts! Quilting for Good is a collection of lively people who enjoy creating quilts and giving them to families living in a homeless shelter, women escaping an abuser, and grieving children. Come be part of it!

Quilts are so much more than a blanket.
