Spent the weekend seeing Ashlee Simpson in Las Vegas!! 20+ years of memories, joy, and music that carried me through some of the hardest chapters of my life. Her music felt like a safe place for me growing up. Up until now, where I’ve flown to Vegas on two trips to see her show, and she’s brought me on stage three times to sing and dance with her. My heart is endlessly grateful for what she’s done for me 🙏🏻🖤

After 26 years, my dream to meet Jessica Simpson has finally come true. Jess has inspired and impacted my life in ways that are hard to put into words. I never thought the day would come for me to meet her and finally share what she means to me, but yesterday was that day.
When I was a teenager, I was in the closet in a small town outside of Boston. I was being physically and mentally abused for my sexuality, not only by peers but by teachers. I never felt safe or like I could be myself. I remember hiding in our school church and singing Jess’s songs, and Ashlee’s, to cope with the pain. Songs like “Everyday See You,” with the lyric “Without even one tiny ray of sunlight breaking through the clouds,” captured exactly how hopeless I felt back then.
Around 2002, Jess had a meet and greet at Walmart in Danvers, Massachusetts. I was maybe 11 or 12 and ecstatic. My dad took me, but seven thousand people showed up and crowded the streets. People were knocking on her limo and for safety she had to leave. I fell to my knees crying because I could not tell Jess how much she meant to me.
I spent years on the Jessica Simpson Message Board and met friends like Ashley who I have known for more than twenty years. Some of those friendships were strong enough that they were at my wedding in 2013. I shared this with Jess and she told me how happy it made her.
Jess, I cannot explain the joy and gratitude I feel. You and Ashlee saved my life more times than you will ever know. Thank you for everything you have meant to me for twenty six years.

🚨EMERGENCY HELP! Update!! For those who may not know, a 22-year-old closeted gay member of LA Org was kicked out by Scientology while he was in the process of joining the Sea Org. He was living at their Fountain Hotel property, and over time, Scientology drained him of all his money and maxed out credit cards they had taken out in his name. He was kicked out of their hotel and onto the street for “Suppressive Acts” (he was making Reddit posts about his need for help, they found out he was gay after they went through his phone…) He found me through YouTube and TikTok after I shared my own story of being a young, gay Scientologist who was scammed.
I woke up today deeply moved by the incredible support from this community. I’m truly blown away! Since posting about his situation, we’ve raised $634.36, which he now has in his possession. I’ve written back to most donors and will personally thank each of you today after I finish the video I filmed with him. We plan to meet up again today or tomorrow. I never expected to raise this much from a single community post! It’s incredible to see such kindness and generosity for a young man in such a difficult situation. He was left with only $12 to his name after Scientology abandoned him. I’m so proud of everyone for stepping up to help. It’s truly beautiful.
I want to thank everyone who’s been sharing these posts, reaching out to others in the community, raising awareness, and helping behind the scenes. Please keep doing so! All ideas, contacts, and resources are greatly appreciated. We urgently need housing for him in the Denver area (or LA, but he wants to go back home). Does anyone have a spare room available?
I want everyone to know that I’m just one person, and I’m extremely exhausted doing my best over here (with chronic tumor pain)! We spent the entire day together yesterday. I’m about to start editing the video we made so we can share his story with the world and introduce him to everyone. The video will likely be up around 1 PM LA time once it’s rendered and uploaded.
Although we’ve raised $634 for him, we still need to continue fundraising. You’ll hear his story in his own words later today, so stay tuned. But he has no family or friends to go back to in Denver. If we don’t find a solution, he could end up on the streets within the next week or so. My goal is to secure at least two weeks to a month of housing for him along with funds for food, transportation, and other necessities while he gets a job and back on his feet. It’s a tough world out there, and I know times are hard for everyone. I understand if you are unable to donate, but if you aren’t able to, please share this to everyone you can!! Those who have followed me over the past 10.5 years know I’ve NEVER ONCE asked for money or run a fundraiser. I’ve learned that they’ve become common in this community during my absence, but this is an urgent and dire situation. We all advocate against Scientology’s abuses and human trafficking. This young man is their latest victim as of the last 2-3 days. He was human trafficked to Los Angeles.
I did get in touch with Aaron Smith-Levin and we talked on the phone for 30 minutes. The Aftermath Foundation had denied his application due to not having enough references. He got in as a first generation Scientologist, as I did. He doesn’t have friends or family who were in with him. Do they want to call his course supervisor or something? What reference does one need? I think Steven Mango is a great reference, but that’s just me. Aaron told me he will also help with his flight and possibly some money. Bruce Hines from the Aftermath Foundation, SHAME ON YOU!
I’m heading back to editing now, but if anyone else would like to help, I thank you from the bottom of my heart on his behalf:

I’m crying.
🚨EMERGENCY HELP needed!! A 22-year-old gay Scientologist was kicked out onto the street outside LA Org in the last 48-72 hours. He contacted me and I spent the day with him today. Here’s what is going on: they trafficked him from Denver to LA on a one-way ticket and coerced him into signing a Sea Org billion-year contract to live and work at the Org. Because his family opposes Scientology, they labeled him as PTS (a Potential Trouble Source, someone connected to an SP—an enemy of the church) and sent him to Ethics. They took thousands of dollars from him, maxed out his credit cards, and required him to pay $2,500 for the Purification Rundown while he was being “investigated.” Although he wasn’t an official Sea Org member, he was on a Project Prepare and living at their Fountain Hotel.
Under duress, they forced him to sign a form allowing them to search his phone and social media or else face immediate removal. He complied, deleting all his apps and most of his messages, and handed over his phone. Five hours later, they returned his phone and kicked him out after discovering he was gay and seeing his Reddit posts and messages. They redownloaded every app & his phone had auto-logged the Scientologists back on. He now has just $12 to his name.
Today, I took him out for a nice lunch and a Starbucks, as he hadn’t eaten in days. We talked for six hours—I’ve been in a similar situation before when I left Scientology back in 2013 and I wanted to be there for him. He needs a flight back home to Denver and possibly a few nights in a hotel until that can be arranged.
As for other resources, the LA LGBT Center can’t see him until October 26, and the Aftermath Foundation, which supposedly helps ex-Scientologists, denied his application because he “didn’t have enough resources.” That’s insane to me, given their mission to help people like him. I even reached out to the SPTV Foundation, a charity run by Aaron Smith-Levin, this morning, but I haven’t received a response yet.
These so-called charities for ex-Scientologists seem like cash grabs, while this young man is at risk of being on the street tomorrow.
If anyone can help him avoid homelessness and get some food, please consider contributing. He has $12, no job, no family, and literally nothing else. Scientology drained him dry, trafficked him here, and then abandoned him. Let’s step up and support him!
I filmed a YouTube video with him, but I won’t be able to upload it until tomorrow. You’ll hear him share his story in a 40 minute video this weekend. In the meantime, if you can help, my Venmo is (if it asks for a security code, the last 4 digits of my phone number are 8408), and my PayPal is [email protected] (my old business name, Talent Mailings, might show up, but it’s me).
Thank you so much! I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t a dire situation. I know many ex-Scientologists and Scientology never in’s follow me and will understand the urgency and importance of helping someone in need.
Let’s make sure he has a safe place to stay and a way back home.

Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour, London Night 5 🫶🏻 Last night was the absolute best night of my life, one I will NEVER forget. I had a better seat than for Night 4, and the entire experience was nothing short of magical. The evening began outside the stadium, where I traded friendship bracelets. An 8 year old girl gave me one that said “slut,” which was just as unsettling as receiving one that said “sexy baby” from a 5 year old. These are song references that fans put on bracelets to trade at shows.
To kick things off, I filmed my usual mental breakdown when she appeared during MAATHBP, and from that moment on, the night was unbelievable. The standing ovation after “Champagne Problems” lasted a full 10 minutes, with 93,000 people stomping their feet. It felt like an earthquake in the stadium while Taylor was left speechless. The energy was even more intense than on Night 4.
I never thought I’d get to attend, especially after missing out on tickets in Los Angeles and with my health issues, I never imagined I’d make it to the international leg before the tour wraps up in December. I’m beyond lucky to have scored tickets for two nights. I wanted to stay for Night 6, but the flight change would have cost $2,800. There’s just nothing like screaming the lyrics of TSMWEL in a packed Wembley Stadium while Taylor marches downstage at 10pm the dark, with marching band dancers collapsing around her during the performance.
I haven’t been to a concert since 2014 and had no desire to see anyone perform live—let alone fly 10.5 hours with chronic pain. But these nights will stay with me forever. Taylor is the reason I live and breathe. She keeps me alive.
