Solavaca Ranch

The Trail has been closed for weeks! But it is finally dry enough to ride. But first, we have weeds, weeds, and other repairs that have to be done. Some volunteers that know the trail would be useful.

The rains brought flooding, the water and sun brought an explosion of growth and some damage. Trees and bushes tried to take the trail back, and the weeds did in some spots. Shari has trimmed almost 100% of the trail with her favorite loppers. We are finally able to open. Could not have done this without her.

Believers on Mountain Bikes meets every month to fellowhip, share, and ride. The Solavaca is where it began and where we still see them many times thru the year. search Believers on Mountain Bikes (North Texas) - a "group"

Fossil 50 coming up March 26, 2016. Staging and starting at the Dinosaur Valley State Park. 50 miles will test the best.

Recent rain and some sneaky riders this morning have combined to make the trail a most excellent adventure. Packed, tight, and tempting. Cool weather. Pinch me!
