My son is moving to college why am I gifting him a Thermomix to go? Bootstrapping his Thermomix, how did I look at this investment?

My son Oscar is 19, he is a well-rounded teenager but when it comes to making his own food he is (like most teenagers) a quick decision maker pizza and pasta kind of guy, but he loves mom’s food!!! For his first year in college he depended on cafeteria food and cheap restaurants around campus in Montreal…yes the best place for good food right? yet he came back with few pounds more and complaining about cafeteria food. Now he is moving in an apartment with some worldwide friends. As a foody Mom and a health crazy…I really need him to have a lot of energy and be responsible for his health by eating well. So this summer he is in charge of planning dinners and making them for the whole family and he is in charge of the budget….
Thermomix is very millennial friendly, connected to a cooking platform called Cookidoo, it helps you choose your menu for the week and make your list of ingredients to shop on the go. The interface is friendly they even have an app coming up to choose your menu while commuting…this is the kitchen of the new generation. It saves time, money and the best so much energy…so that you can also do all kinds of fun things…like study!!!
Oh did I tell you that Thermomix cooks…may be it can replace the cafeteria food also…that is an instant bootstrap…look at what you are going to pay for cafeteria food for 8 months in college!!!!
