Stop making people work to understand you. If I land on your page and can’t tell what you do within 5 seconds, I’m gone. Most brands are so busy being “clever” that they forget to be clear.
1. The 5-Second Test: Show your website to a total stranger. If they can’t figure out your offer and your vibe in 5 seconds, you’re losing money. It’s that simple.
2. Visual Friction: Your visuals must match your message. Don’t use “minimalist” aesthetics if your brand is high-energy and loud. Confusion kills trust before the first sentence is even read.
3. Cut the Jargon: “Synergy,” “End-to-end,” and “Holistic” are where conversions go to die. Say what you do in real, human words.
4. Strategy Over Fluff: Pretty pictures won't save a broken message. Design should amplify your clarity, not hide your confusion.
