Hey there Gillette! Our annual membership meeting if March 20th at 6:30PM at our club house! If you show up to our meeting you will be entered in a raffle to win a FREE MEMBERSHIP!!! Also if you would like to run for a board of directors position please contact me on here and we will get that handled! Everyone stay safe and warm!

We will be open December 30th for the ARIZONA BOWL from 1:45PM-end of the game! Come up have some cold drinks and enjoy the great company! GO POKES!!!!!🏈🍻

We will be open during the good weather days from 10:00AM-3:00PM for anyone who wants to come golf. We will be charging $20 per player if you are not a member. We would like to inform you that our snow fences are up on the greens. And we have taken down the tee markers! We hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weather while it last!!

For those of you still needing to spend your pro shop credit our pro shop will be open this Sunday the 29th from 9:00AM-4:00PM. Stay warm and and drive safe! Thank you all for another great year!!⛳️

COURSE UPDATE:

Our beautiful greens are getting aerated today! For those of you that may be new to golf and don’t know why we have to do this twice a year here is a little explanation!

What's the point of punching the greens? The short answer is that aerification enriches the soil and allows the grass to "breathe," which makes for lusher, thicker putting greens that can be trimmed down perfectly to provide a smooth surface for short-range putts.

Punching the green (also called "coring" the green) counters the tendency of the soil on putting greens to compact over time and circulates air down into the soil and to the grassroots, helping keep the turfgrass healthy. Punching the greens, therefore, is a maintenance practice at golf courses.
