Cougar Kitchen šŸ¤¤šŸ’› My favorite part of traveling has always been hosting dinner for the crew & now I have the kitchen space to do it even better 🤩 can’t wait to get back on the road & put this baby to use šŸ«¶šŸ»

This week is my last week in Cali before I head to Montana and get to work on the Cougar!!! 🤩 I bet you’re thinking, ā€œWhat? Didn’t she say she’s based in Wyoming?šŸ¤”ā€ and that is true, our house is in Wyoming and is the home base of this company. I usually bounce back and forth from the house and wherever Dylan is working, because I’m really not meant for suburban life and would much rather live in an RV park šŸ˜‚Anyways the Cougar is my parents’ camper and is located in Montana so I’m going there to get started on the demo and reno and get my dad’s help while it’s available to me, then when Dylan is done working in Cali we’ll head to Wyoming. Cannot wait to bring you along on the renovation journey, who’s excited!? 🄳😁

Lol funny little story about that sconce light, when I first got the idea in my head to renovate I knew I wanted to change the lights but I had NO IDEA how, so I took shade off the wall sconce, decided I was in over my head, pivoted and made this faux wall plant holder. I literally cut a hole in the tin planter that went around the light and stuck some flowers in there to cover up the light. After 3 years of it just being my fake flowers I totally forgot there was a light there until I was demoing in August and had a good laugh, oh how much I’ve learned since then. Anyways moral of the story here… it’s okay to PIVOT if you’re in over your head and come back to it when you have the proper knowledge and confidence.

You can catch me looking like this 99.9% of the time because designing the Cougar has consumed my entire attention span & I physically cannot think about anything else. šŸ¤” T minus one month until we hit the ground running šŸƒšŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ„³

We tried peel & stick tile, then peel & stick wallpaper, then just painted it white. Trina ( ) was right— peel & stick doesn’t hold up in an RV šŸ˜‚šŸ«£ now I’m thinking it’s lacking some character and I know from experience that cooking that close to the wall will inevitably end up with splatter, so what do we think? Should we do real tile, faux brick paneling, stone wall like Trina’s toyhauler? I’m open to suggestions!

We love a good kitchen glow up šŸ¤

Don’t worry there will be cuter rugs when she’s posted for sale, I just threw these ones down to keep the new floors clean ish during construction 🤪

Hi! Let’s put a face to the name, shall we? My name is Josie. I am a 24 year old linewife, dog mom, and DIY enthusiast. I was born and raised in Montana and have spent the last 6 years moving around as much as possible. My husband, Dylan, and I live full time in our RV as we travel wherever his job takes him. RV renovation has been a dream of mine since I found ā€˜s page in 2018. So here we are, 5 years later with two (soon to be three) renovations under my belt, turning this dream into reality.
