To all my Famous Sam's friends and family:

We have lost a member of our family yesterday. Kim Riley, trivia master and baker extraordinaire passed away last night.

Kim was a woman that could get along with anyone and always extended a helping hand even when she wasn't asked.

Please keep her son Sean and her always loving husband Jon in your prayers.

You will be missed Kim.

If anyone who worked for me needs a letter of recommendation, I promise they will be glowing.

I'm still a good writer/liar.

Whatever it takes to help you find a new place, I will do.

To all my friends and FAMILY at Famous Sam's in Gilbert:

We have all mutually decided to end the final chapter of Famous Sam's in the valley.

After almost 17 years in business, we have made SO many dear friends, but due to financial circumstances and legal issues with our license, we have decided to close t h e doors.

Rest assured, your local neighborhood pub will eventually reopen. Just not under its current name or management.

I cherish every moment and every person that I have met over the years. You truly are a family to me. Perhaps my only family.

However, things change. And let's all look forward to a brighter future together.

I truly, from the bottom of my heart, want to thank the wonderful crew that I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. I love you more than you know!
