We celebrated Jim Guarino’s 102nd birthday, and what an incredible milestone it was. Jim served as an Army medic in World War II, and seeing so many family members, friends, and dignitaries come together to honor him was truly special. He was even presented with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition celebrating his 102nd birthday. The Gilbert Fire Department stopped by to pay tribute as well. 102 never looked so good. Happy Birthday, Jim.

Today, we celebrated the incredible men in our community with a laid-back grill and chill. Sliders, wings, and cold drinks kept everyone happy, and the conversations were even better. Nothing beats great food and even better company.

We kicked off summer with an armchair trip to Belize! Residents enjoyed travel videos that brought the beaches, culture, and rainforest right into our community. Then the “vacation bar” opened with drinks, snacks, and plenty of social time — the perfect start to vacation season!

We made these beautiful trinket boxes using vintage postcards – a charming décor piece and a heartfelt way to celebrate 250 years of independence.

Another touching tribute this week for Father’s Day, we set up a table where residents could bring photos and memorabilia of their fathers and grandfathers. It quickly became something special. Seeing everyone share memories reminded us how meaningful these men in our lives truly are.

New Image Fashions brought the fun to our community today! Residents shopped in comfort, enjoyed a spirited fashion show, and even cheered on a gentleman modeling the newly available polo shirts. Such a fantastic afternoon of style, smiles, and shopping.

Thank you to Dr. Bruce Cochran and the East Valley Chorale for a wonderful Sunday afternoon filled with uplifting, inspirational music. You filled our stage — and the entire room — with joy and beautiful harmonies.
