Something on the bench…..

WF ESB Lineage Helmet

It’s been a long journey, but I’m very pleased that Tom Hagin now has his ESB.

Tom was extremely patient and understanding as I was navigating some unexpected life circumstances.

The helmet came out wonderfully, and it feels good to be doing prop work again after a very long hiatus.

At times you’re reminded of the things that had a huge impact on you in your youth…..

Superman The Movie was one of them….

My utmost thanks to Jim Bowers and CapedWonder for preserving the legacy of this film.

If you have the opportunity to get this book, do it, you won’t regret it.

Brought me to tears in a few places ❤️

First time putting together one of the Eaglemoss kits….. lots of parts/pieces…..

I did do a few mods along the way to bring it closer to BTTF Production Version.

This beast is almost 2’ long, and it does light up as well.

I also weathered it as well, just to look more like it’s been driven a little.

So this is a Trick or Treat Studios 78 Michael Myers mask that has been rehauled by me.

The hairline was redone, mask completely repainted, ear glue line redone, weathered, hair restyled, all to more closely match the hallway scene in the original Halloween film.

I’ve done 3 of these, one for my Sister Nessa, one for me, and the last one is being auctioned off.

The one you see in these photos is currently on eBay, here’s the listing…..

Bid often, as I’m not sure if I will do any others…..

Even James T Kirk needs a Spa Day once in a while…….

For Valentines Day this year, I got the Sideshow 1:1 Grogu for Jennifer.

Being me, I couldn’t just leave it out of the box. I started doing research and after watching Adam Savage’s video about adding arm articulation, I wanted to improve it.

With further research and discussions (Thank you Tennant), I decided to also make the head posable.

Took me a bit to work up the gumption to cut into The Child, but was easy once I did it.

The upper arms were removed, the neck hole was widened, and I used Octopods to make the arms/head posable.

In addition, I added the metal Mythosaur pendant, changed the shift k**b to aluminum, dialed back the cheek flesh color and weathered the coat to have more of the look of a child who is constantly walking on the ground…..

And now I’ll get to see her pose him and apparently dress him for the holidays…. ❤️
