New flower drawing. Life gets me away from drawing at times but I always come back. This one is "Carnations" meaning devotion, love and distinction.

Now that this is gifted, I can share it. New commissioned memorial portrait done for a dear friend. I wish I would have been able to meet him.

I haven't been on my drawing board for a while so it feels good to be back. This was a birthday bouquet for my daughter. "The Birthday Bouquet"

Newest drawing. This one was quite a challenge. My daughter took this photo of my grandson with his new friend while spending a month in India. Still need a title but calling it done.

Finished August flower of the month. There are actually two but I chose Gladiolus. Meaning strength, integrity and perseverance.

So this commissioned drawing was a challenge. It was requested to make certain changes to the provided image to more reflect the home she grew up in. Luckily when she picked up the drawing she was overjoyed. Such a privilege to be able to bring joy to people through my art.

July flower is Larkspur. Well one of them. Water Lily is also considered July. Larkspur has many symbolic meanings. A few are Beautiful spirit, positivity and strong bonds of love. Happy Birthday July friends!
