I am truly excited to announce that my script, THE ADVENTURES OF KAREN & KEITH, was chosen for the Herberger Lunchtime Theatre for their upcoming season! I will be producing the show for my company, Go Live Theater. The Adventures of Karen and Keith is a Modern/Retro-Styled Variety Show with a Heart.

My friend and amazing playwright, Kirt Shineman, wrote this description of the show: The Adventures of Karen and Keith is a high-energy, comedic performance that uses physical comedy, witty dialogue, and musical interludes to explore the absurd nature of love and relationships. The characters are endearing and relatable, while the narrator’s playful asides keep the audience engaged and entertained. The themes of gender roles, societal expectations, and self-identity are presented humorously, yet with a layer of sincerity that underscores the play’s exploration of modern love.

Last call to sign up for auditions for The Fox on the Fairway @ Stage Left Productions directed by Kandyce Hughes. Auditions are this Saturday between 10am-1pm. Call backs are Sunday @ 5pm.
This show is going to be GREAT FUN! If you love farce and you're adept at physical comedy...we want you to be there! The age ranges listed are approximate...but honestly we're looking for 3 couples that have the agility to do physical comedy. Ages are flexible. Here's a snapshot of the characters:
Justin Hicks – 20-30
Recently hired, eager to please, assistant to Bingham, offbeat, sweet, anxious, bundle of nerves with unruly hair. Romantically involved with Louise. Agile. Type: young Jim Carrey.
Louise Heindbedder 20-30
Waitress at Quail Valley Country Club, a knock-out, leggy, good natured, and a little ditzy, but studious. Can cry at a moment’s notice. Type: young Goldie Hawn (any hair color)
Henry Bingham- 40-60
Executive Director of Quail Valley CC, determined to do whatever it takes to win. Type: Pierce Brosnan
Richard “Dickie” Bell – 40-60
Executive Director of Crouching Squirrel Country Club. Often obnoxious, but tries to come off as good-natured. Type: Danny Devito as a used car salesman.
Pamela Peabody – 40’s, 50’s
beautiful, tanned and very sophisticated, but a bit loose. Vice President at Quail Valley CC, Dickie’s ex-wife. Type: Samantha on S*x and the City.
Muriel Bingham 40 -60
A sturdy woman, generally overbearing, married to Bingham and probably his age. Owns an antique shop that becomes part of a wager. Type: Bea Arthur (Golden Girls)

Love this!❤️ I would watch you three powerhouse women read the phone book (if there still was one.) We need more shows with amazing women! Let’s make it happen! A female director and female writer to write stories that women want to see ( yes some token men would be ok.)
