Hockey is another sport that pushes me in the best way—fast, unpredictable, and so fun to capture. 🏒

Over Christmas break, I had the chance to photograph the Rushmore Hockey Bantam A squad, and they brought the intensity. Jack Archer and his teammates left it all on the ice, and those split-second moments made for some incredible shots.

Playing with different vantage points added a whole new perspective—and made this shoot even more fun.

Had the absolute honor of photographing these two beautiful souls as they step into their newest adventure. 🤍

Tammy is one of my oldest friends — and someone who has deeply influenced my own fitness journey in the best way. And Carly… I’ve known her since the day she was born. I took her senior photos, and now she’s officially finished with graduate school. Watching her grow into this next season has been such a gift.

I am beyond excited for what’s ahead for these two — I’ll be supporting them and joining in right alongside them! 💪🏼✨

My senior sessions for 2026 have started..
Had a blast with Makinley and her Mom in the gorgeous Black Hills!!! I’ve known Makinley since she was born and have watched her grow in a beautiful young lady with a contagious smile!! Pretty easy to capture her genuine goodness! 🫶🏼🙏🏼💕

A few final shots from Miles fall shoot! We had a blast capturing these and he is such a kind young man! He has some lofty post high school goals… cannot wait to see his future play out! Soak up these last few months, class of 2025! 🙌🏼🎓🙏🏼💙

Admittedly I am not a landscape photographer. Several of these are test shots while waiting for my seniors to change. BUT I’ve been Blessed to see some amazing places and I am very thankful to have captured them through my lens. All of these images and a few others are included in the Caregiver Journal. They fit with the customer water colors done by 🫶🏼🙏🏼. All images were taken in South Dakota, Arizona and Utah🏜️⛰️🌄

Snuck in one more senior shoot this past fall. The new bank on top of Hwy 16 and the courthouse in fall proved to be great backdrops- especially for the more formal shots in a suit!

Hey Friends- not very often you find me on this side of the camera but I have some exciting new to share. Three years ago I published a journal to help cancer patients navigate their treatment decisions. The resounding input since has been that caregivers need a similar journal. So I set out with the.same team- for the amazing watercolors, for the graphic design and for the copy editing. We have created something we are so proud of!!!!🙌🏼🫶🏼🙏🏼💕
I interviewed caregivers to share their experiences in hopes of helping others. AND- I used my own photography throughout this journal. I’ll share some of those images soon but for now wanted to get the word out about this journal. If you live in Rapid City, you can purchase or at the hospital gift shop.
