What an amazing view from this little gem hidden away in the middle of nowhere Utah. Kim and I were told about this place from a small town local restaurant waitress (food was amazing too). It was well worth the three hour detour and a total of about 50 miles worth of dirt and questionably muddy roads on a very dreary and chilly day.

Kim and I had a short but wonderful time visiting Dead Horse Point and Arches NP. We had an unexpected run-in with thunderstorms and I was blessed with some amazing opportunities. These are a few of my favorite images, some of which I plan to print in large format.

All our hard work last November is paying off; our poppies are exploding and native wildflowers soon to follow.

This Vermilion Flycatcher was hanging out at our stock tank today, sitting on an old paddle handle. He looked at me for a moment and I can only imagine he was thinking the same thing I was....What happened to spring...if feels like winter again.
