Aris Foundation is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)3 dedicated to caring for the homeless. We provide food, clothing and hygiene items.

Aris Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was originally established to care for homeless young adults within the East Valley. While that remains our focus, we have expanded our mission to include all individuals, homeless or housed, who need care. Mostly, we provide resources and a connection to loving volunteers who care.

One of our volunteers told me that his favorite part of Tuesday night is the end of the evening when he’s picking up trash ….. The end of the evening is when things are quiet, when those who need conversation stay and share. It’s the time of the night when reflection occurs. It’s the magic…..

Thank you to the wonderful volunteers from the Islamic Community Center who hosted our dinner tonight!

What a beautiful evening! The weather wasn’t too hot and everyone was really peaceful …. We served 158 people and had 65 volunteers.

Thank you to SkyShield Roofing for hosting BBQ sandwiches and potato salad! We had an opening in the hosting schedule and they stepped in to save us!

With the impending heat coming to the Valley, several Tempe churches have stepped us as cooling centers to keep our unhoused community alive! (So grateful to them.) These are self-funded cooling centers, so Aris is there to help.

We have signed up to provide 50 snack packs per day over the summer and we need your help! If you’re able, purchase some snacks off our Amazon Wish List. We have multiple groups signed up to put them all together!

As always, thank you for being the BEST supporters ever!

Volunteer Lyn posted about how hard things have become just trying to help people in the City of Tempe. She shared how these success stories keep us going. Loved the post, pictures and how each of our “kids” responded …..

The weather was GORGEOUS tonight and we all took a moment to appreciate the last cool night before summer descends. Summer is both uncomfortable and deadly for those we serve and we are incredibly grateful to University Presbyterian Church for hosting a cooling center (along with two other churches in Tempe). They will literally be saving lives!

So grateful to the Islamic Community Center for hosting dinner tonight. So many people left with full bellies and a happy heart!

Being a part of an outreach team is not just about homeless outreach…. It is sorting, organizing, pick-ups, drop-offs, meetings…. and sometimes it is painting an alley wall on a Saturday morning!

We love University Presbyterian Church and are thrilled when we get to help them keep this neighborhood beautiful!
