Late night brew session was a success!

Throw back Thursday. Our humble beginnings.

Just tapped a 2 1/2 year old Belgian Porter! Brewed this bad boy back on May 8th, 2011 and kegged it July 26th, 2011, it has been resting ever since. I gotta say this beautiful brew has aged tremendously well!

Did some bottling today! Got our Scotch Ale And our imperial stout Graveyard Shift bottled up. Sealed up the stout with some bottle wax. Ended up with about a case of each.

Brewing our Rum Raisin Brown Ale!

Kegged our Kölsch this morning.

This Saturday we will be brewing our winter seasonal Rum Raisin Brown Ale! We will start with a hearty brown ale base and add toasted oats and caramelized raisin in to the mash then adding some Black Strap molasses and more raisins that have been soaked in rum at the peak of fermentation. And if that's not enough for you, we then age it with some oak cubes soaked in rum!

Can't wait to see how our most recent brew comes out! Should be a fine Scottish ale. Better get your drinkin boots ready cuz this'll be a heavy hitter for sure!!
