In the House ...

Arizona farmers and ranchers are facing real headwinds — shrinking water access, labor shortages, and livestock losses from Mexican gray wolf attacks.

I met with Arizona Farm Bureau President John Boelts and farm workers across AZ to talk solutions. Last week I led the fight to deliver emergency relief for ranchers hit by wolf attacks, and I’ll keep fighting for Arizona’s agriculture sector in Congress.

When people think about Arizona agriculture, alfalfa may not be the first crop that comes to mind.

But alfalfa plays a critical role in supporting Arizona's dairy and beef industries. As a high-quality feed crop, it helps nourish the animals that produce milk, cheese, yogurt, and beef enjoyed by families across our state.

Sometimes the most important crops aren't the ones you see on your plate. They're the ones that help make the entire food system possible.
