What it doesn't teach you?

Mahjongg.

This week, the Home Ladder team traded lease agreements and maintenance requests for tiles, strategy, and a whole lot of confusion.

At first, it looked like someone had dumped a thousand tiny dominoes on the table and made up the rules as they went.

A few rounds later, we started to figure it out.

Turns out Mahjongg has a lot in common with property management:
✔️ Pay attention to the details.
✔️ Think several moves ahead.
✔️ Adapt when the situation changes.
✔️ Try not to panic when someone else knows exactly what they're doing.

Most importantly, it was a great reminder that strong teams aren't built only in the office. Sometimes they're built around a table, learning something completely new together.
