cience from the University of Michigan and teaching high school science for a few years, Chris Burt started his insurance and financial service career in 2006 as an independent life insurance and health insurance agent. While this career move was precipitated by a desire to provide for his wife soon-to-be-born first child, Chris continued to embrace his teaching instincts and helped people create life and health insurance plans by educating them about their risks and their options to confront them. Chris gradually developed his insight and experience both by working with over 50 different financial institutions and by soon finding himself the father of four beautiful children. As Chris's desire to learn more and do more for his customer base grew (commensurately with his customer's requests for additional services), Chris saw the ability to positively impact more aspects of customers lives through the broad suite of financial products offered through State Farm. Chris became a State Farm Agent in January 2016. Chris still advises in life insurance, wealth management strategies and Medicare, but now also offers services in Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Renter's Insurance, Liability Insurance, Business Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, Employment Practices Liability Insurance, and retirement planning services. Chris has expanded his ability to serve customers through a team of hard-working, high-integrity licensed agents. Most customers soon realize that Beth Andersen, who has been working with State Farm for over 20 years, is the true talent in "Burtopia". Beth leads all customer service interactions and quite simply is the highest quality of person you will meet in the insurance world. Beth works sometimes from home and sometimes in the office, but she always works hard no matter where she is. Loni Edhegard, has worked with a State Farm agent in Hawaii over the past three years. Loni recently relocated back home near her family in Bellingham, WA. Since Chris knows talent, integrity and a hard work ethic when he sees it, Chris was able to recruit Loni to join Team Burtopia as a virtual team member. Loni assists our new customers in obtaining quotes and choosing plans that are fitted to their lifestyles, budgets and tolerance for risk.
