Our hearts are heavy as we remember our friend, Freddie Duran.

For more than 10 years, Freddie shared his music at Isabel’s Amor. He loved working a crowd. He loved it when you sang along or danced. He was also a familiar face at our Christmas parties and a great friend of our family.

After a courageous six-year battle with cancer, Freddie leaves behind a legacy of music, joy, and connection that we won’t forget.

Earlier this year, Tim Vasquez traveled to Jalisco, Mexico to help select our Signature Tequila. From visiting the agave fields to tasting alongside the distillers, every detail was chosen with intention to create something truly special for Isabel’s Amor and our community.

“There are a lot of people out there who had a bad experience drinking bad tequila when they were in high school or college,” Tim Vasquez said with a chuckle.

“A lot of us have done that. So, they hear the word ‘tequila,’ or they see it being poured, and they get scared. What they don’t understand is that drinking 100% agave tequila is so delicious."
