Hi everyone - we are looking forward to another successful Christmas Cookie Sale Fundraiser this year!

in Falkenstine Hall from 10:00am - 4:00pm
Enter the kitchen door by the playground!

Please indicate if your cookies contain nuts, peanut butter, nut flavoring, or gluten.

Disposable containers are preferred, or write your name on your container and it will be ready for pickup the next week.

Gilbert Presbyterian Women's Cookie Sale - Bakers Needed!
It’s that time of year again !!!

The Gilbert Presbyterian Women will be having their annual Cookie Sale on Sunday, December 14th.

For over 20 years PW has held a Christmas Cookie Sale to raise money for both Local, Presbytery-wide, and National Presbyterian mission projects. Each year PW contributes approximately $1,000 to these missions. With an active membership of between 10-20 women, the annual Christmas cookie sale definitely helps to make this possible.

But first, in order to sell cookies we need people to bake cookies!
We are accepting cookies, candy, brownies, etc.
(please no pies, cakes or cupcakes)

There are 2 signup sheets – 1 in the Sanctuary Narthex, and 1 in the Palmer Center Library on the table. You can also call Liz in the Church office at 480-892-6753, or you can easily sign up online at https://tinyurl.com/PWcookies2025

Cookies need to be delivered to the Palmer Center Kitchen between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 13th (please use the south entrance by the kitchen). We will be open for business on Sunday, December 14th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the cookies sell for $8 a pound!

A reminder that we will be worshipping at First Presbyterian Church Mesa (161 N. Mesa Drive, Mesa AZ 85201) this Sunday, October 5th to celebrate World Communion Sunday. The worship service begins @ 10:30 am!!!

9/11 Day of Service - Part II
Donations Needed !!!

GPC is responsible for the collection of:
- Laundry detergent, liquid, pods or dry
- Fabric softener, liquid or dryer sheets
- Stain remover, spray liquid, gel, stick
- $2 Donations for mesh net laundry bags

We are asking if you are able, to donate the 16 - 24 ounce sizes of laundry products for the mesh net laundry bags. These items will be collected and donated to the AZCEND Program in Gilbert.

Donations of $2.00 per laundry bag would be helpful plus the laundry supplies. We need laundry products for 100-150 bags.

Donations of 3 flats of bottle water and 600 paper plates for the breakfast are also needed. Everything else is provided by other churches.

Volunteers are needed on Saturday, September 13th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm in the GPC Palmer Center to help sort the donated clothes, undergarments and put together the laundry bags.

Also needed:
helpers to coordinate projects, and greeters at the door to welcome volunteers from the community into GPC.

After the day is completed, we need:
drivers to take the laundry products to AZCEND Program in Gilbert, and take the clothing to Helen's Hope Chest in Mesa.

If you can spare some time please speak to Cheri Peterson and/or Kitty Burgess.

There is a free pancake breakfast at 7:30 am on 9/13 with the opening ceremony at Evident Life Church - 1415 N. Gilbert Road. The Mayor of Gilbert will be attending the opening ceremony along with the Pastor from Event Life. The Boy Scouts will be performing a flag ceremony and Old American flags will be collected and taken the Veterans of Foreign Wars for honorable disposal in Gilbert.

Sign up sheets for other volunteer projects will be at tables during breakfast at Evident Life Community Church. This is a community project with other churches and schools in Gilbert and volunteers will choose their projects and disperse to various locations around Gilbert.

This is an exciting project and we look forward to seeing you on 9/13 in the GPC Palmer Center!
