Meet the Miller Family! Josh and Autumn are sent out of Community Baptist Church in Stuart, Florida. Previously, they spent 2.5 years in Papua New Guinea, and were overjoyed to be able to return in January, joining the team in Mawerero among the nDo people.

Please join us in lifting this family up in prayer as they serve:

- Pray for continued spiritual growth, emotional health, and mental endurance during all of the transitions of moving to Papua New Guinea and then into a tribe
- Pray for consistent financial support, and that those who give would do so with joy and would be blessed
- Pray for the unity of their team
- Pray for the growth of the believers in the nDO tribe--that God would establish a maturing church there

"Bangena is one of the first women in the village of Mawerero to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. To anyone on the outside, Bangena already knew God. But she had never heard the Gospel…Not clearly.

Missionaries Zach and Cassidy have been living among these people for over a decade now, working to learn their language and translate the Gospel of Mark. It was through these efforts that Bangena learned that not only could Jesus heal sickness, but He could also forgive her sins.

As she was discipled through translated Scriptures and parenting lessons, her heart broke… And she responded with action. She began sharing everything she was learning with her husband, her grown children, and their families.

Would you take a moment to pause and pray for the nDo people group today?

We want to proclaim the Gospel to lost sinners who have no chance of hearing it unless somebody goes.

Without missionaries intentionally pursuing this country, whole language groups will perish without the Gospel.

We estimate that there are still fifty unreached language groups in the Finisterre Mountain range alone.

Our mission is to see a church planted in each of these language groups, so that through them Jesus Christ might receive the glory due His name.

Why Papua New Guinea?

Although on paper, over 90% of New Guineans may tell you they are Christians, these same people commonly practice animism, ancestor worship, and syncretism as well.

The need to know the true Gospel in PNG is great: Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6)

Biblically faithful churches alone have the authority to raise and send qualified missionaries to plant more churches in the Great Commission.

So where does FinisTerre fit in?

We want to help local churches send their missionaries to plant churches at the ends of the earth, specifically in Papua New Guinea. At FinisTerre, our role is to proclaim the need, partner with like-minded churches, prepare a path for training, and provide logistic care and spiritual resources.

We aren’t here to take over. We’re here to be a bridge.
