POOL TIP OF THE MONTH:
If you have recently visited the ocean, lakes or rivers make sure to thoroughly clean your swimsuits, toys, etc..anything that has been in the water before taking them into your pool. It's the #1 way to introduce Black algae to your pool, it's spreads fast and is very difficult to get rid of. If you notice black spot showing up for no reason..that's likely black algae

POOL TIP OF THE MONTH:
This time of year we use our pools the most. Using sunblock and suntan oils, these oils will quickly clog your filter and can cause issues with your water clarity. If you are unable to rinse off prior to swimming...toss a couple of Tennis balls into the pool, they will help collect the oils on the surface of the pool..just make sure to remove, clean or replace with new balls every week as they will absorb a lot!
POOL TIP OF THE MONTH:
tired if chasing leaves around the surface of your pool with your net!? Use something like an old contact lens solution bottle or and empty dishsoap bottle, fill it with 9 parts water 1 part Dawn dishsoap. Sq**rt the mixture along the center of the pool and watch the leaves move to the sides of the pool for quick & easy clean up!
P.S. make sure the pump is off while doing this so the circulation doesn't interfere
POOL TIP OF THE MONTH: Tired of bugs hanging around your pool? Dilute peppermint oil with 50% water in a spray bottle and spray around the perimeter of your pool! Bugs will stay away...use on window sills and doorways too!
