Thank you all for the love on my last post! I’m so excited to be now 👶🏻

My first make of the new year is this by with modified cuff sleeves. Short sleeves just work better for this AZ climate and I become an oven when I’m pregnant ☀️ I also shortened the bodice on this one since I’m a little shorter than the 5’10 it is drafted for. Once I get the hem finished, I’ll get some pictures of it on ✨

Hello friends! I have exciting news to share - there’ll be another little babe joining our family this June! I’m so very happy but this is why it’s been so quiet around here lately. I’m finally getting some energy back (yay second trimester!) but it’s still slow going. I can’t wait to sew some baby clothes and maternity clothes as this will be the first baby and pregnancy since I learned how to sew. So send me all your maternity hacks and fav baby patterns! 💛

Also, this wrap dress by is a perfect addition to my wardrobe right now as it’ll be able to accommodate my growing belly and I’ll be able to nurse in it once the babe is here. So if you’re looking for a great maternity and postpartum dress, I’d highly recommend it.

2019 has been a year of creative growth✨ I made some gorgeous clothes, got more into embroidery, and learned some new crafts. But the biggest creative leap of the year was starting The Study Corner and opening my doors to all you lovely makers. I loved creating workshops, and I treasure the connections I made with the students and teachers who attended.
✨THANK YOU✨ for showing up, supporting, liking, and sharing! I’m so very excited to see what 2020 holds.

My is pretty indicative of all the creativity that was happening ✂️ 🧵

There were no homemade Christmas outfits for my kids this year, I bought our family pjs, and almost all of the kids presents are plastic crap (that they will undoubtably love) and I feel 100% ok with all of these decisions. I feel way less stressed and there’s no last minute rush to get things made. I’m enjoying the season and saving my sewing energy for the new year. So here’s a picture of some ornaments I made a while ago to wish you a very Merry Christmas 🎄

Oh hi! It’s been a looooooong time since I’ve been on here (for a good reason that I’ll be sharing soon 🙊) but I am BACK and wanted to share this gorgeous dress from that I made for our annual Christmas tea party. I am such a sucker for a wrap dress and this one is definitely worth adding to your collection if you don’t already have it. I made it using a lovely viscose linen noil from which is perfect for the warm AZ temps year round. •••
I can’t wait to catch up on everything I’ve missed these past two months! I feel so out of the loop 🙃 What’s on your sewing table this holiday week?

I’m more of a cute-spooky Halloween person vs a creepy/bloody/gross spooky person 👻 🎃😁

I’m not usually one for selfless sewing, but I couldn’t resist making some matching sweats for the kids’ first camping trip 🏕 I scored these lightweight french terry fabrics from for a great price and used the FREE ringer tee from for the tops and the pattern from for the bottoms. My kids have a really hard time telling the back from the front with mom made clothing so I added these super cute handmade tags from (which were also FREE). And last I couldn’t find a design I liked, so I created my own with my new favorite toy- .inc
